How I eat a Whole-food, Plant-focused diet

with almost NO-OIL, LOW-SUGAR, LOW SALT​

I had a 99% blockage in my LAD (the widow maker) last November 2019 and got a stent. There are still two existing blockages below that- in the LAD and the first main branch- that are 70-90%. Stents don’t work well in T-branches like that. I’m eating a very strict Low Oil, Low Salt, Low Sugar, Whole Food, Plant Focused diet, trying hard to stop and reverse my heart disease. At times I find it very difficult and frustrating, even though I love the feeling of feeding my body with healthy food. Join me if you’d like, as I deal with the challenges of eating healthy- as I’m surrounded by so much fried, buttery, sugary, delicious food! But I have no choice, my life depends on it, so I resist! In my posts I’ll share how I do that and other lots of good information to help us live a life not only long in years, but with life in our years!
